Chocolate Orange Macaroon

This is an interesting little cookie. It’s like a macaroon, but doesn’t follow the typical recipe. Can probably be adapted to a Almond Joy or Pina Colada cookie.

Chocolate Walnut Cookie

This is a very easy cookie to make. It’s a Chocolate Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie, which has a good flavor and nice cakey texture.

Chocolate Pizzelle

This is an impressive looking cookie that is pretty easy to make. The challenge is that you need a Pizzelle Iron to be able to make them.

Naan is a flat bread that is often an accompaniment with Asian dishes from India and Pakistan. This recipe produces a nice chewy flat bread that is lighter than pita bread.

Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken is a slightly spicy dish that a Pakistani friend of mine introduced me to. He said that a properly prepared Butter Chicken reminds him of comfort food from back home.

Shortbread Cookie with Bacon

This cookie is delicate, melts in your mouth, and is bursting with flavor. The use of bacon through out the cookie makes for an interesting play on sweet and savory.

Cinnamon Clove Biscotti

Cinnamon Clove Biscotti is a nice sweet spicy crunchy cookie that goes well with coffee, hot chocolate, or other hot breakfast drinks. It’s an easy and forgiving recipe, but takes a bit of time to make.

Chocolate Orange Chew

This week’s cookie is a Chocolate Orange Chew. The cookie is slightly chewy with a dominant chocolate flavor and hints of orange.
